Three suspects charged with robbing a Roslyn Heights bank on Thursday night were arraigned Saturday morning and held with bail.
Monique Davis, 36, of the Bronx, was charged with four counts of second-degree robbery, one count of third-degree robbery, one count of third-degree attempted robbery and one count of resisting arrest.
Prosecutors said Davis — in multiple robbery attempts — has demanded cash, “stating that she had a bomb.”
Thursday’s robbery occurred about 8 p.m., when, police said, Davis and Anthony Brown, 24, of the Bronx, entered the bank and Davis “attempted to conduct a transaction,” only to demand cash from the teller when asked for identification. The teller handed over more than $1,000, police said.
Davis and Brown fled on foot, police said, but were arrested nearby less than an hour later. Police said none of the three employees present during the robbery Thursday were hurt.
Brown “was in cellphone contact” with another man, Charles Sutton, 37, of Jennings Avenue in Patchogue, during the robbery, police said.
Sutton was arrested after officers stopped his 2013 Hyundai on Mineola Avenue, and he presented police with a New Jersey license bearing a bogus name, James Price.
He also had a stun gun when arrested, police said.
Sutton was charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and with vehicle and traffic law violations. Brown was charged with second-degree robbery.
Davis was held on $450,000 cash bail; Sutton on $75,000 cash and Brown on $100,000 cash.
Police said that a subsequent investigation linked Davis to a slew of robberies and attempted robberies — all of them at TD Bank branches in Nassau.
Those incidents include: TD Bank on Old Country Road, New Cassel, on Jan. 24 and Feb. 7; TD Bank branch on Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, and a TD Bank branch on Sunrise Highway, Wantagh, both on Jan. 27; and, a TD Bank branch on Franklin Avenue, Garden City, on Jan. 30.
