The Palos Verdes Golf Club was the venue for an April 25 junior golf clinic sponsored by Bank of America, in conjunction with that week’s the LPGA Tour even. About 25 students from from Boys and Girls Club of Venice, between the ages of 11-15, were invited to participate in the inaugural Palos Verdes Championship led by female golf trail blazers Renee Powell, Anna Davis, Rachel Kuehn and Madelene Sagstrom. The Palos Verdes Championship is part of Bank of America’s commitment to invest in women leaders on and off the course. In partnership with First Tee-Los Angeles, this clinic inspires the next generation to play golf, as well as to learn important life skills. The youth rotated through three different sessions with individual tips and personal stories from instructors.
