2022 Beloved Benefit With Usher, Maroon 5 And Others Raise $6.3 Million To Inspire Positive Change Around The World – Harlem World Magazine – Harlem World Magazine

The 2022 Beloved Benefit featured special performances by three-time Grammy Award-winning pop band Maroon 5 and eight-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Usher.

Emceed by NBC Sports Host and Correspondent, Maria Taylor.

Notable attendees included Mayor Andre Dickens, Jeff Foxworthy, Ernie  Johnson, Donell Jones, Monica Kaufman Pearson, Khadeen Ellis, Jon Jon Traxx, and more.

The Beloved Benefit, a community impact event that took place at the Mercedes Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA, galvanizes the city of Atlanta, and aims to inspire positive change through greater economic mobility. 

The event focused on raising awareness, securing funds, and inspiring action to help shape Atlanta’s legacy with a vision of cultivating a  community free of poverty, hunger, and homelessness, where racism and prejudice is replaced with love and brotherhood.

This year’s event also included a special tribute to the late Congressman John Lewis, a musical performance by Seasons Collective, and a theatrical performance called “Little A.” 

The $6.3 Million raised will be distributed directly to this year’s eight  Nonprofit Beneficiaries and eleven Community Beacons, which prioritize economic and community development at the core of their missions. 

This year’s eight Beneficiaries include:

·        Atlanta CareerRise

·        Center for Employment Opportunities 

·        The Goodr Foundation

·       Goodwill of North Georgia Career Training Center



·       Latin American Association

·       Quest Community Development Organization

·       The Village Market 

·       Westside Future Fund

This year’s lead sponsors included The Arthur M. Blank Family  Foundation, Chick-fil-A, Inc., Mercedes-Benz Stadium, The Home Depot  Foundation, The WestRock Foundation, Georgia Power, Peach Bowl, Inc.,  Truist, The Coca-Cola Company, Sunkist Growers and UPS.
