TD Bank employee volunteers and TreesUpstate staff and volunteers partnered to plant 45 trees in the Southernside Community on Oct. 27 as a part of TD Tree Days, a community-based program that expands urban forests and green spaces in low-to moderate-income neighborhoods.
“TD Bank is proud to once again partner with TreesUpstate for TD Tree Day to help improve green spaces in the Southernside Community,” said TD Bank Regional Vice President Chris Fincher. “We are incredibly grateful to all of our volunteers and colleagues for their generous support helping to create a more vibrant and sustainable tomorrow.”
Since the program’s inception in 2011, thousands of volunteers have planted more than 800,000 trees and shrubs from Maine to Florida.
