Police search for armed bank robber fleeing a Wells Fargo in Snohomish

Written by Amanda

Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect who ran from the Wells Fargo in Snohomish Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, slim and wearing all black.

It’s unclear if he took any money. He was last seen carrying a black crossover bag.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported on X, formerly known as Twitter, that a police dog was searching the area as the suspect ran from the location on foot.

However, the sheriff’s office later reported Tuesday they were unable to locate the suspect and they believe he fled in a vehicle.

The law enforcement agency posted a photo of the suspect on X late Tuesday afternoon.

Police investigating anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime at Renton church

The doors were part of a display that said, “God’s doors are open to all.” Detectives said there were tire marks on the lawn, indicating the driver intentionally drove over a six-inch curb and through the six wooden doors.

According to the press release from Renton Police, “the United Christian Church strongly supports the LGBTQ+ community and has suffered vandalism in the past. Hate crimes and bias-related incidents are not tolerated in Renton, and we encourage everyone to report them.”

There was an estimated damage done worth $1,800 to the church property.

Police say hate crimes and bias-related incidents are not tolerated in Renton, and they ask anyone with information to please call them.

Shooting in West Seattle Monday afternoon

A man was seriously hurt in a West Seattle shooting Monday afternoon.

The Seattle Police Gun Violence Reduction Unit is investigating, after witnesses say people in two vehicles shot at each other near the intersection of 35th Avenue South and South Webster Street.

When officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victims.

But, around the same time, a 30-year-old man was treated at Harborview for a gunshot wound.

That man is reportedly in stable condition.

Police are hoping someone comes forward with tips to help them learn the identity of the people with the guns.
