Wells Fargo promoted a longtime executive, Erik Karanik, to boost growth in its independent advisor business, the company said.
Karanik now serves as head of independent solutions for Wells Fargo’s Wealth and Investment Management unit. He reports to WIM Chief Executive Officer Barry Sommers.
