At least 23 climate protesters were arrested on Monday, June 10, after blocking entrances to Citigroup offices in Lower Manhattan, local media reported.
ABC7 New York reported that at least 23 protesters were arrested. The NYPD told Storyful they could not confirm information about arrests at this time.
The action was part of “The Summer of Heat on Wall Street” campaign, the report said, targeting Wall Street companies and asking them to stop funding oil, coal, and gas.
