Hello Alice, the fintech platform connecting 1.5 million small businesses to capital, connections, and opportunities, has partnered with Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and Wells Fargo to launch the Wells Fargo Equitable Access Boost Camp, as part of the Equitable Access Program. After successfully introducing accelerators and boost camps to its small business community in 2023, Hello Alice has expanded this line of programming with a variety of boost camps in partnership with multiple enterprise partners. The boost camps are powered by Hello Alice’s Business Health Engine™, a tool that allows small business owners to evaluate their business and financial health and then provides those owners with tailored recommendations to improve their business health.

The Engine provides Hello Alice’s partners with a direct channel to connect small businesses with access to comprehensive data to measure the impact of their social and marketing initiatives, providing clear evidence of success.

Over the course of 12 weeks in the Wells Fargo Equitable Access Boost Camp, small business owners will get access to expert-led sessions, education, mentorship, a peer support network, and much more with a focus on business health and credit-building practices. Up to 2,000 entrepreneurs who are ready to fuel their growth will be selected for coveted spots across 4 cohorts in this immersive accelerator.

Hello Alice is a financial technology platform serving more than 1.5 million small business owners in all fifty states. Hello Alice is committed to equitable access to capital and to supporting any entrepreneur with a good idea, especially those in the New Majority. Hello Alice offers funding, education, tools, and curated opportunities. Working with enterprise business services, ecosystem partners, affiliates, and government agencies, Hello Alice provides its growing community with everything they need to grow their businesses.

The Global Entrepreneurship Network operates programs in 200 countries aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business. By fostering deeper cross-border collaboration and initiatives between entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers and entrepreneurial support organizations, GEN works to fuel healthier entrepreneurship ecosystems that create more jobs, educate individuals, accelerate innovation and strengthen economic growth.

The application deadline for this camp is August 16. Selected participants will be split into two cohorts with the first beginning class on September 10th and the second beginning on October 1st. Two additional cohorts will open applications and take place in 2025.

Any entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder and/or President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title) of a for-profit business located and registered in one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico can apply. Applicants must also be Eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE). Additional terms and conditions can be seen here.

“Access to capital is consistently cited as the top barrier to small business growth, yet our data indicates that most companies lack the business health fundamentals to unlock the financing they deserve,” said Carolyn Rodz, CEO & Co-founder of Hello Alice. “Skill building and mentorship provided through Boost Camps help businesses grow upon a healthy foundation that is more likely to open doors not just to capital, but to the customers, contracts, and opportunities that ensure long-term sustainability. Together, with GEN and Wells Fargo, we are elevating small business owners to reach their next level of success, while powering the economic flywheel for all entrepreneurs.”

“We’re proud of the work we’ve done with Hello Alice and GEN to create services and programs that address the vital needs of small business owners across the U.S.,” said Luis Gonzalez, Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Impact at Wells Fargo. “Financial education and credit-building skills are two of the most crucial areas of knowledge small business owners need to successfully scale their businesses and continue on a steady growth path. This boost camp will help hundreds of entrepreneurs acquire this knowledge and build these skills.”

“Small businesses thrive when they have entrepreneurship ecosystems to support them – including dedicated experts who can provide them with tailored educational and skill-development opportunities to help their companies scale,” said Jonathan Ortmans, Founder and President of the Global Entrepreneurship Network. “Through our partnership with Wells Fargo and Hello Alice, we are empowering entrepreneurs everywhere through equitable access to credit and the technical assistance they need to succeed.”
