PNC, Plaid End Legal Battle With Customer Data-Sharing Deal (2)

PNC Financial Services Group Inc. and data aggregator Plaid Inc. announced an agreement that will allow PNC customers to use Plaid to share their financial data, bringing to a close long-running litigation.

The data-sharing agreement announced Friday will enable PNC customers to safely share their financial information with fintechs such as Venmo, Wealthfront, and Robinhood using Plaid’s technology, the two companies said. PNC uses Akoya application programming interfaces that Plaid will be able to plug into under the agreement.
