CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Country music star Morgan Wallen brought all the energy for his back-to-back concerts at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium over the weekend.
For his Friday, Oct. 18 performance, the “Last Night” artist wasted no time to fire up the crowd as he walked out to the stage alongside Panthers legend Steve Smith.
Wallen‘s entrances have gone completely viral, as he tends to bring out big names depending on the city. For example, when he performed in Kansas City, his walkout was with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Later in that same Friday concert, Wallen rocked a No. 17 Panthers jersey for the country phenom himself, Xavier Legette. The rookie wide receiver holds no shame in his deep southern roots, from his accent to his touchdown celebrations (he pretends like he’s riding a horse for them).
Wallen’s tour
The pair of Queen City concerts were a part of Wallen’s “One Night At A Time” tour.
Initially, Wallen had scheduled his Charlotte concerts for Thursday, July 18, and Friday, July 19. On July 12, Wallen announced on X that he got sick in Tampa, and had to reschedule.
“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” Wallen said. “I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight’s Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week’s Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.”
