Des Moines Performing Arts has announced a new concert series: “Made in the Midwest.” The series will celebrate independent musicians from across the region.
Guests can expect a unique experience at the Temple Theater, a venue known for its “unparalleled” acoustic quality, DMPA said in a news release.
“We are hopeful that introducing these fantastic artists to new audiences will not only grow their base of support but will serve to strengthen the support for local live music,” said Brooke Bridenstine, the organization’s programming manager.

Tickets are on sale now for $20 per show, available at desmoinesperformingarts.org. You can also call 515-246-2300 or stop by the Civic Center ticket office at 221 Walnut Street.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Temple Theater box office on the night of the show. The box office opens two hours before each show.
