Shares of U.S. Bancorp USB slid 2.91% to $50.33 Thursday, on what proved to be an all-around grim trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 2.38% to 4,017.82 and Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 1.94% to 32,272.79. This was the stock’s second consecutive day of losses. U.S. Bancorp closed $13.24 short of its 52-week high ($63.57), which the company reached on January 13th.
