Vestwell, a retirement-focused fintech, said it raised $125 million in new funding in a Series D round led by venture capital firm Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Vestwell said it will use the funds to expand its focus on state-retirement savings programs and develop other initiatives for its customers. Founded in 2016, the company provides software and technology, including a recordkeeping platform, to retirement and saving plans such as 401(k)s.
