Several climate activists dressed as orcas were arrested while demonstrating in front of Citigroup’s Manhattan offices on Tuesday, June 11.
Footage captured by members of the activist group Climate Defenders shows the NYPD arresting multiple demonstrators.
According to a post by the group, the action is part of “The Summer of Heat on Wall Street,” a campaign targeting finance firms and asking them to stop funding oil, coal, and gas.
