During the past year, Bank of America undertook the largest senior management change in the last 10 years. With the retirement and transitions of key leaders, BofA added five new management team members, including three women, strengthening diversity at the senior levels. Women now lead three out of eight lines of business. In May, Bank of America announced a partnership with the American Heart Association and other public health organizations to launch a $25 million, four-year initiative to advance health outcomes for communities of color. Christine Katziff, chief audit executive since 2010 and one of the honorees of this team, was the catalyst for that partnership.
