Grand Jury
LISBON — Michael Gately, 35, Berlin Center, was served recently with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, with a forfeiture specification for money from a drug case. Gately allegedly possessed methamphetamine which exceeded the bulk amount but was less than five times the bulk amount, along with $228 cash, on Sept. 9, 2021.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set April 17 for Barbara Stonestreet, 31, West Third Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence and weapons while intoxicated for allegedly throwing a bag of food in a man’s face, then shoving him, causing him to fall down on Jan. 28 in Salem while intoxicated. She also allegedly had a loaded 9 mm gun in her pocket.
A pretrial was set Feb. 6 for Matthew Rash, 31, West Third Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest for allegedly striking a woman in the face during an argument on Jan. 28 in Salem while intoxicated and then ripping his arms from officers and refusing to walk after being placed under arrest.
Darnell Wilkerson, 26, Youngstown, was fined $850 and given a 90-day suspended jail term for engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools ad possession of drugs. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour online education course. Wilkerson answered an undercover ad and arranged for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $80, traveling to East Palestine on Jan. 28 for the meeting and having marijuana in his possession.
A pretrial was set April 13 for Todd Weekly, 51, Malvern, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly driving to Salem on Jan. 27 to meet an undercover agent for sexual conduct in exchange for $200.
A pretrial was set April 4 for John Paul Peuterbaugh, 48, Miller Street, Kensington, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly answering an undercover ad and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $80 and arriving in Salem on Nov. 11 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set April 17 for Kenneth Hmura, 52, Adah, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly answering an undercover ad and soliciting sexual conduct with two females in exchange for $220 and arriving in East Palestine on Jan. 29 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set April 18 for Diana Andre, 43, last known address Salem, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly trespassing on an Elberon Avenue, Salem property on July 11, 2021 when she was found sleeping on the back patio.
A pretrial was set April 13 for Eric Wiley, 42, Dilworth Road, East Liverpool, charged with reckless operation and disorderly conduct for allegedly following young females in a vehicle in East Liverpool, swerving and causing them alarm by getting out of his vehicle and walking toward them on Jan. 8 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set April 17 for Jaclyn Sue Koch, 39, Adams Road, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly making threats of violence against a man during an argument on Jan. 29 at an Adams Road, East Palestine property.
A pretrial was set Feb. 6 for Roland Glendenning, 51, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly slapping a woman on the face during an argument Jan. 26 in Salineville.
A pretrial was set April 17 for Destiny Earich, 25, Wood Street, Wellsville, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly returning to the scene of an accident when she was a passenger and beginning an argument with the other driver on June 26 in Liverpool Township.
David Gromley, 39, Railroad Street, Kensington, was fined $200 for disorderly conduct for threatening to harm the victim at the scene of an accident on state Route 644 in Kensington on Sept. 20, 2022.
A pretrial was set April 17 for Amber Jones, 31, Sixteen School Street, Wellsville, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly being at her condemned house on Jan. 28 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set April 18 for Hannah Pierce, 22, Dogwood Circle, New Waterford, charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to the Dogwood Circle residence for the defendant allegedly running around outside in her underwear, breaking items and then being found intoxicated in her bedroom, yelling, being argumentative and screaming obscenities on Jan. 28.
Laura Ann Weddell, 59, Alliance, was fined $705 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended, leaving three days to serve for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, driving under suspension, following too close and no seat belt. Her driver’s license was suspended for a year and she was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
Theadoro Helmick, 42, Youngstown, was sentenced to $925 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three day served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and speeding. His license was suspended for a year, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set April 18 for Jaylynn Lanave, 21, Cedarwood Drive, Beloit, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and marked lanes.
A pretrial was set April 13 for Amanda Coy, 36, Granite Street, Salem, charged with OVI first offense, operating while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to control.
Camron Moffo, 21, Boardman, was fined $450 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served for OVI and failure to control. His driver’s license was suspended for a year and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
Charlene Sias, 45, state Route 154, Lisbon, was fined $580 for driving under suspension, loud exhaust, failure to display valid sticker, and possessing marijuana.
Jordan Mountain, 32, North Jackson, was fined $350 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for two days served, for possessing drug abuse instruments for possessing a hypodermic syringe while a passenger in a traffic stop on Nov. 12, 2022 in East Palestine.
Jose Martinez, 35, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 for speeding and distracted driving.
Kevin Ramsey, 26, Rochester Road, East Rochester, was fined $500 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for discarding litter. Ramsey was also ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Ramsey illegally dumped five used tires at an illegal dump on Foundry Hill Road, Salineville on April 3, 2022.
Nicholas Stepo, 24, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $400 for driving under suspension and improper turn.
Edward Pine, 25, Campground Road, Wellsville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set April 11 for William Sheville Jr., 35, Ware Road, East Liverpool, charged with assured clear distance.
