The start of every new baseball season is marked by the exciting introduction of new ballpark stadium food that goes beyond all of our wildest dreams. Of course, there are the classic treats such as the BBQ chicken and mac sandwich found at Coors Field or Fenway Park’s New England Maple Bacon Burger.
While these classics are iconic in their own right, it’s the new concoctions that fans eagerly flood their favorite stadiums to try. Citi Field, home of the Mets, is introducing a myriad of new collaborations with renowned chef’s like Sunny Anderson and Pat LaFrieda, while also offering new partnerships with legendary New York staples like Pig Beach and Jacob’s Pickles.
Other exciting new food to look out for is the Fried Green Tomato BLT at PNC Park, Avocado Fries at Fenway Park and a Jerk Chicken Sandwich at Citizens Bank Park.

They will also host partnerships with not only Pig Beach and Jacob’s Pickles but also will house a “Taste of Queens” Cart that will feature revolving local eateries throughout the season including Tang Korean Cuisine, Fresco’s Grand Cantina, and The Nourish Spot. Citi Field’s Promenade Club will also bring tastes from New York restaurants Takumi Taco, Empanada Mama, Emma’s Torch, and others.
