PITTSBURGH — The baseline forecast from economists at PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is for strong but slowing economic growth over the course of 2022.
Near-term growth will be driven by consumer spending, supported by high levels of saving; business investment; home building and a stronger global economy, PNC (NYSE:PNC) said in its recently released report.
Real GDP will increase 3.8% in 2022, above the economy’s long-run average.
